General Manager International, Kingsoft Cloud at Kingsoft

Yan Tao is the current General Manager International for Kingsoft Cloud. Prior to this, Yan Tao served as the President International Business for Kingsoft Cloud, where they were responsible for the formation and management of Kingsoft Cloud International. During their tenure, Yan Tao took charge of the establishment and management of Kingsoft Cloud's overseas sales, marketing, service and product systems. Yan was also in charge of the landing of cloud computing business in China for strategic customers in North America and Southeast Asia Area. In addition, Yan Tao managed to realize the implementation of overseas cloud computing business for China's TOP Internet customers. Yan also promoted the strategic cooperation between Kingsoft Cloud International and Akamai, Limelight Networks, CloudFlare, Azure, etc. Yan Tao is familiar with North America, Southeast Asia, and China's Internet market and business. Yan has extensive global Internet customer resources including Apple, Microsoft, Valve, Sony, TikTok, Garena, Shoppe, Lazada, Snack, etc.

Before joining Kingsoft Cloud, Yan Tao served as Vice President Operations for 高升控股股份有限公司 (Gosun Holdings Ltd.), where they were responsible for the formation of the company's CDN and cloud computing team. During their tenure at Gosun Holdings Ltd., Yan Tao helped put commercial operations into place to help the company's products complete the transition from the Iaas layer to the Pass layer. This resulted in a breakthrough from zero on cloud computing revenue and helped the company form a complete product portfolio and solution operation management system. This enabled the company to have complete solutions capabilities on CDN, virtualization, storage, data learning, and containerization. Under Yan Tao's leadership, Gosun Holdings Ltd.'s domestic performance saw an increase from 65 million CNY in 2015 to 188 million CNY in 2017. In addition, they were responsible for establishing the North American branch of Gosun Holdings Ltd., which saw an increase from 3.3 million US dollars in 2015 to 5.4 million US dollars in 2016. Finally, Yan Tao was responsible for HR management improvement of HR system for subsidiaries and mergers and acquisitions companies (recruitment, qualifications, corporate culture, KPI, employee care, etc.).

Yan Tao attended Tongji University from 1999 to 2003, earning a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology.
