Alexander Holland has extensive work experience as an ASIC engineer, specializing in design and verification. Alexander started their career at Argonaut Technologies as an Undergraduate Engineer, where they worked on verification projects. Alexander then joined Mitel Semiconductor and Zarlink Semiconductor, where they developed RTL hardware for Digital TV SOC chips. At Oxford Semiconductor, they focused on designing award-winning RTL hardware for digital access platforms and external storage solutions. Alexander later moved to PLX Technology, where they worked on RTL design and verification of SoC designs for direct and network storage. Finally, they worked at OCZ Storage Solutions and KIOXIA Group, where they held roles as Principal ASIC Engineer, specializing in the design and verification of storage controllers and encryption cores.

Alexander Holland attended Penwortham Priory High School from 1985 to 1990. Alexander then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Microelectronic Systems Engineering from The University of Manchester from 1995 to 1999. Prior to this, Alexander attended Durham University from 1992 to 1995, studying Physics and Chemistry with Material Science.
