Elisa Ivory Harrell is an experienced educator currently serving as a Structured Literacy Support Coach and Lead Teacher at KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools since August 2022. Previously, Elisa held the position of 8th Grade ELA Teacher at LEAD Public Schools from August 2019 to May 2022, and worked as a 7th Grade Literacy Teacher at KIPP Nashville from August 2015 to May 2019. Earlier roles include serving as a 4th Grade Teacher in Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools from August 2013 to May 2015 and participating as a Nashville Teaching Fellow with TNTP from May 2013 to May 2015. Additional experience includes coaching a Step Team at Clarke Middle School from August 2010 to May 2013, and holding customer service positions at Academy Sports + Outdoors and Follett Higher Education Group. Elisa holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from The University of Georgia and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Lipscomb University.
