Sarah Gomez is an experienced education professional with a strong background in leadership and project management within the KIPP network. Currently serving as the Director of Professional Development at KIPP Foundation since November 2016, Sarah leads multiple high-impact training events for KIPP Forward teams. Previously, as Managing Director of KIPP Through College at KIPP Philadelphia Schools, Sarah guided alumni towards successful postsecondary pathways, achieving graduation rates above the Philadelphia average. Sarah's career also includes roles as Director of KIPP Through College and Director of Alumni Support at KIPP Philadelphia Schools, as well as teaching positions at Omaha Public Schools and Houston ISD. Sarah holds a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Teachers College, Columbia University, and dual Bachelor's degrees in Spanish Literature and Honors English Literature and Fiber Arts from the University of Michigan.
