Kurt Carstensen

Kurt Carstensen has extensive experience in finance and operations, currently serving as Head of Family Businesses and CFO at KIRKBI A/S since March 2011. Prior to this role, Kurt held the CFO position at GPV from January 2009 to March 2011, and at Louis Poulsen Lighting from March 2006 to December 2008. Kurt's career also includes a CFO role at Alstom Power FlowSystems in 2005 and a notable tenure at LEGO from 1997 to 2004, where responsibilities included Business Support Partner and VP Operations Europe North. Earlier in Kurt's career, a partnership at Deloitte established a strong foundation in finance. Educational qualifications include a Statsaut. revisor degree obtained in 1992, a Cand merc aud degree from Handelshøjskole Syd, and studies at Columbia Business School.
