Kirkham Michael
Jon Halbgewachs has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Jon started their career as a lawnmower for their self-employed business, learning the importance of teamwork and productivity. Jon then gained customer service skills as a cook at Pizza Hut. Moving on, Jon worked at a beef packing plant where they performed various physically demanding tasks, solidifying their determination to complete their engineering degree. Jon also worked as a summer engineering intern at KDOT, where they gained hands-on experience in highway and bridge projects. Jon later joined the Kansas Department of Transportation, holding different roles such as District Construction Engineer and Construction/Area Engineer. Currently, they are working at Kirkham Michael & Associates as a Vice President, managing the Ellsworth, KS branch office.
Jon Halbgewachs earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Kansas State University, which they attended from 1991 to 1997.
