James Malcolm is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in various senior leadership roles. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Kismet since February 2025, Malcolm previously held the same title at Broadcast Virtual, a leader in virtual advertising for live sporting events, from July 2023 to January 2025. Prior to that, Malcolm was CFO and COO at togetherAI, a Sydney-based startup focused on conversational AI, managing both financial and operational aspects from December 2020 to June 2023. As the founder and outsourced CFO at CFOs on Demand from July 2016 to December 2020, Malcolm provided CFO and finance services to high-growth SMEs and startups. Additional roles include part-time CFO at Total Synergy, Senior Commercial Manager at Optus, and Finance Director at Skype, among others. James Malcolm holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting and Management from Australian Catholic University and completed the CPA Australia Program.
