Valentina Sala has extensive work experience in the field of scientific affairs and drug development. Valentina worked at Kither Biotech from 2019, starting as Head of Scientific Affairs, where they coordinated and managed the non-clinical development of a new therapy for Cystic Fibrosis. Moving on, from 2003 to 2006, they attended Università di Torino and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biotechnology. In 2007 and 2008, Valentina pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Molecular Biotechnology at Università degli Studi di Torino. Finally, they completed their education at the University of Turin, where they obtained a PhD in Molecular Medicine (Biochemistry and Cellular Biotechnology) from 2009 to 2012. In addition to their academic achievements, Valentina Sala also obtained a Diplôme d'études en langue française (DELF) certification in 2001 from France's International Centre for French Studies and a Basic Life Support and Defibrillator Operator (BLS-D) certification in May 2011 from IRC-COM.
