Erik Brown

Flight Test Engineer at Kitty Hawk

Erik Brown has a diverse background in both military and engineering roles, currently serving as an Infantry Soldier with the New York Army National Guard since September 2022 and with the US Army from February 2023 to May 2024, where extensive training includes Basic Combat Training, Infantry Advanced Individual Training, and Parachute Training. Prior to military service, Erik worked at Tesla as a System Engineer from March 2020 to January 2022, and held the position of Flight Test Engineer at Wisk from October 2011 to January 2020, contributing to various advanced aviation projects. Erik began a career at Boeing in July 2006, also as a Flight Test Engineer, notably participating in a record-setting 18-hour endurance flight with the A160 Hummingbird ISR platform. Erik holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Yale University, obtained between 2002 and 2005.
