Christine Young

Christine Young serves as the Director of Risk, Assurance and Evaluation at the Ministry for Primary Industries since October 2019. Additionally, Christine is a member of the Risk and Audit Committee at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment and the Chief Audit & Assurance Officer at Kiwibank, where leadership includes overseeing the Audit & Assurance function nationwide. Previously, Christine held the position of Director, Risk and Assurance at the New Zealand Ministry of Justice, focusing on establishing the Risk, Assurance & Fraud function. Education includes credentials from Melbourne Business School, the Institute of Directors in New Zealand, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Victoria University of Wellington.
