Dean Sivara

Dean Sivara is an advisor at Klangoo, a position they have held since December 2011.

Previously, Dean worked at Cisco from March 2007 to December 2011 as the lead for developing and managing managed services solutions for Smart Connected Communities. In this role, Dean was responsible for saving energy, physical security, digital signage, in-home services and city services - all delivered via the cloud.

Before working at Cisco, Dean was a startup business advisor from January 2004 to August 2015, working with entrepreneurs to start new ventures. In this role, Dean helped with a range of advisory tasks, including business plan creation, introductions to funding sources, business development and strategic planning.

Dean has a wealth of experience in developing and managing services delivered via the cloud, as well as advising startups on a range of strategic tasks. This experience makes him well-suited for their current role at Klangoo.

Dean Sivara got their BS in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University and their MBA in Finance from The Wharton School.
