Kirti R. Patra

Kirti R. Patra has worked as a Site Reliability Engineer for Klara since 2022 and for Trade Republic since 2021. Prior to that, they were an IT Analyst, System Engineer, and Assistant System Engineer for Tata Consultancy Services from 2015 to 2021. As an IT Analyst, they were responsible for configuring monitoring & alerting for API Platform, implementing automated jobs to drive build/release strategies, creating dashboards & visualisation using Splunk for high observability, and participating in high priority production incident & its postmortem to ensure resolution and stability. As a System Engineer, they wrote Ansible playbooks to automate infrastructure configuration, administered Openshift clusters running high end applications, and worked on creating pipelines for automated builds & continuous integration. As an Assistant System Engineer, they performed monitoring of Openshift clusters using Prometheus, participated in troubleshooting of production incident & ensuring its resolution, and performed postmortem of the critical outages & documented it for reference.

Kirti R. Patra obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Information Technology from Orissa Engineering College, Bhubaneswar between 2011 and 2015. In 2017, they obtained the Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions certification from Microsoft. In 2018, they were awarded the Google India Challenge Scholarship from Udacity. In 2020, they became a Certified Kubernetes Administrator from the Cloud Native Computing Foundation.
