Fredrik Olovsson

Fredrik Olovsson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Fredrik began their career as a Secretary-Archivist at the Embassy of Sweden in Moscow. Fredrik then co-founded Teknologblocket, a notepad company, while studying at Lund University and the Royal Institute of Technology. As a Cofounder, they managed sales and achieved significant revenues.

Fredrik then worked as a Full-stack JavaScript Developer at Proposales, where they built an online business proposal platform. Fredrik also served as a Frontend Developer at Mobiento/Deloitte Digital, contributing to the development and improvement of a multi-brand universal single-page application.

In 2015, Fredrik cofounded Creddon, a platform that engaged users in charitable social media campaigns. Fredrik later joined GeoSignage Sweden as a Founding Team Finance and Marketing Lead, Board Member, and Frontend Developer. Fredrik played a key role in developing their B2B Content Management System for infotainment in public transport.

Fredrik later established their own consultancy firm, Kamsa Technologies, where they worked as an Owner and Software Engineering Consultant. Fredrik primarily focused on web and mobile application development, utilizing JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Redux, and Node.

Most recently, Fredrik joined Klarna as a Lead Engineer. Fredrik'sresponsibilities included full-stack TypeScript and React Native development in the Klarna App. Fredrik was recognized as one of two Lead Engineers in Klarna's Team of the Year and played a crucial role in integrating PriceRunner and implementing groundbreaking search and comparison features.

Fredrik also took on leadership roles within Klarna as an Accountable Lead and a Competence Lead. In these positions, they revised team visions and roadmaps, managed stakeholder expectations, and coached engineers to facilitate their career development.

Fredrik Olovsson has a diverse education history. In 2005 to 2006, they attended the Swedish Armed Forces Interpreter Academy (Försvarsets tolkskola) where they pursued a degree in Interpreter/Interrogator with a specialization in Russian. Later, in 2010 to 2011, Fredrik became an exchange student at the University of California, Berkeley, focusing on Business Administration & Entrepreneurship. Finally, they studied at Lund University until 2015, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Engineering with a concentration in Industrial Engineering and Management.
