Maya Weinstein

Maya Weinstein has a diverse range of work experience in the design field. Maya is currently working as a Design Director at Klarna. Previously, they worked at Spotify as a Design Lead, where they managed a team of designers and collaborated with partners such as Google, Amazon, Facebook, and Apple. Maya also served as an Adjunct Professor at the School of Visual Arts and as a Design Lead at IBM Watson Ecosystem, where they created a design consultancy and conducted design thinking workshops for clients in various industries. Prior to that, they worked as a Design Lead at IBM and as a Senior Product Designer at IBM Watson, where they contributed to the development and design of AI-backed products. Maya also has experience as a Teaching Assistant and Freelance Designer, and they worked as a Front End Web Developer and Web Developer/Wordpress at different points in their career. Maya holds a teaching role at The New School, where they developed and taught a programming course.

Maya Weinstein completed their Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Design and Technology from Parsons School of Design - The New School, with a duration from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) and a BA in Art History from the University of Colorado Boulder, which they pursued from 2006 to 2009. In 2017, Maya also obtained a certification as an IBM Design Thinking Leader from IBM.
