Pavel Chernyshev has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in product management and CRM. Pavel started their career at TripAdvisor as a CRM Manager in October 2016. Pavel then moved to Digital Contact as a CRM Lead in March 2017. In March 2018, they joined Sony Electronics as a Digital Product Manager. In June 2019, they became a Co-Founder and Head of Product at Hora Labs. Pavel later joined Rakuten Deutschland GmbH, where they served as a Senior CRM Manager from June 2019 to January 2020 and as a Product Manager from February 2020 to December 2020. In April 2021, they joined idealo internet GmbH as a B2C Product Owner, and currently, they hold the position of Senior Product Manager at eBay Kleinanzeigen starting from June 2022.

Pavel Chernyshev obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Strategic Marketing from Imperial College Business School from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Enterprise Information Systems from Prague University of Economics and Business, which they completed from 2011 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Pavel Chernyshev has acquired several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. These certifications include Agile Leadership: Leading teams successfully in a digital transformation from Brainbirds (obtained in September 2021), Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (obtained in July 2021), Design Sprint Master from Design Sprint Academy (obtained in November 2020), Technical & Business Personalization Certification from Dynamic Yield (obtained in October 2020), and Product Owner from Binary District (obtained in December 2018). Pavel was also recognized as a UK finalist in the L'Oréal Brandstorm 2016 Business Competition, awarded by L'Oréal in March 2016.

Since June 2021, the company has been part of Adevinta, a leading global provider of online classified ads. In May 2023, the name was changed to Kleinanzeigen.
