Robert Kammerer has a diverse range of work experience. Robert started their career at Bel as a Controlling Intern in 2012. From there, they moved on to HypoVereinsbank - UniCredit Bank AG as an Intern in Middle Office Fixed Income in 2013. In 2015, they worked at Rocket Internet SE as a Working Student in Compliance and Legal roles. In 2017, they joined McMakler, where they held various roles including Head of SWAT (Objektvermarktung) - Operations Development, Business Development, and Business Development at McMakler Finanz GmbH. Most recently, they joined eBay Kleinanzeigen in Business Development in 2022.
Robert Kammerer completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Economics at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, which they pursued from 2011 to 2014. Subsequently, they pursued their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Economics at Freie Universität Berlin from 2014 to 2017. In 2022, they attended Ironhack for a Data Analytics Bootcamp, although no specific degree was obtained.

Around 35 million users per month make Kleinanzeigen one of the most widely used websites in Germany. Kleinanzeigen was launched in September 2009 as eBay Kleinanzeigen. Since June 2021, the company has been part of Adevinta, a leading global provider of online classified ads. In May 2023, the name was changed to Kleinanzeigen.
