Mette Kirstine Agger is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in biotechnology and governance. Currently serving as a Board Member for Det Obelske Familiefond and holding the position of Advisor and CEO at Esrum Biotech, Mette has also been a Board Member and Chairwoman at KLIFO since 2008. Additional board roles include positions at LEXEO Therapeutics, C.W. Obel A/S, scPharmaceuticals, Abzu, and DYSIS Medical. Mette has previously chaired the board of cureteq AG and served as a board member for Akamis Bio until June 2023. Mette holds a Master's degree in Biology from the University of Copenhagen and an MBA from Henley Business School.
