Philipp Buhofer is a Swiss citizen, born in 1959. Mr. Buhofer studied business administration at HWV Lucerne. After several years in purchasing management at Metro International in Europe and Asia, he moved to EPA AG in 1987, where he held various managerial positions in purchasing and sales. From 1997 he was a member and later President and Delegate of the Board of Directors of EPA AG until it was transferred to COOP in 2003. Today, in addition to his work at DAX Holding AG, he is active on the boards of several industrial companies, including as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cham Group AG ( OTC) and member of the Board of Directors of the listed Kardex Holding AG and Schaffner Holding AG.

Klingelnberg AG is a Switzerland-based mechanical engineering company. The Company develops and manufactures machine tools to produce gears and gear components made to customers' orders. It has four business divisions. Oerlikon Bevel Gear Technology develops tool adjusting and measuring devices, bevel gear cutting, grinding, lapping and testing machines, tools for spiral and internal gearings, clamping devices for series production and more, as well as software solutions supporting bevel gear design and optimization. Hoefler Cylindrical Gear Technology offers cylindrical gear cutting and grinding machines, machine software and after sales services, such as additional options and milling tools. Klingelnberg Precision Measuring Centers cover quality management of drive elements to assure axially symmetrical objects. Klingelnberg Drive Technology manufactures gear sets in the Company's plants in Germany and Hungary. The Company has sales offices in Europe, Asia and the Americas.
