Bouk then went on to study at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2004 to 2010, earning a M.Sc. in Econometrics with a focus on Time Series Analysis by State Space Models. Additionally, in 2009, Bouk attended a summer school at the University of Jyväskylä for Advanced Econometrics. In 2010, they pursued an MBA at the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business. Finally, from 2008 to 2011, they completed an M.Sc. in Quantitative Finance Honours Track with a specialization in Dynamic Credit Risk at VU Amsterdam.
