Samuel Lopez Jr., DBA, PMP, currently serves as the R&D Engineering Manager for North America at KLS Martin Group, leading a team focused on New Product Development and Project Management Office initiatives within the medical device sector. With extensive experience that includes roles at the UF Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering as an Expert Faculty member specializing in Engineering Project Management, and as an Engineering Program Manager at Medtronic, Samuel has demonstrated a strong capability in managing cross-functional teams and projects, particularly in regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction. Prior experience in the US Navy as a Senior Manager in Telecommunications provided a solid foundation in operations and team leadership, alongside technical project management across varied disciplines.
