Hayley Cotton

Hayley Cotton is an experienced IPS Planning Engineer II at KLS Martin Group, beginning in June 2022, with a progressive career as an Associate IPS Planning Engineer and IPS Planning Engineer 1. Responsibilities include planning surgeries using FreeForm software, designing medical products, and overseeing the manufacturing process for surgical devices. Prior experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The University of Georgia, focusing on normotrophic scars and conducting research on nanoceria, as well as roles as a College of Engineering Student Ambassador and UGA Board of Trustees Panelist. Earlier, Hayley was an Engineering Research and Design Intern, where the development of high-yield pecan shelling machinery was a key project, managing a budget of $150,000. Additionally, valuable volunteer experience was gained at North Georgia Medical Center. Hayley holds a Bachelor's degree in Biological/Biosystems Engineering from The University of Georgia, completed in May 2022.
