Derek Hutson

Derek Hutson has a long and varied career in the technology industry. Derek began in 2006 as the Director of Sales for IBM (Acquired BuildForge). In 2007, they joined CoreTrace Corporation as their Senior Vice President of Sales. In 2009, they became the President of Hart InterCivic. In 2011, they joined Ivanti (Acquired CoreTrace Corporation) as a Board Member. In 2012, they became an Investor and Advisor to Charity Dynamics, a role they held until the company was acquired by Constellation Software. In 2015, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Liquibase. In 2020, they joined Morgan Creek Strategies as a Managing Partner. In 2022, they joined Resurgens Technology Partners as an Operating Partner and also became the Chief Executive Officer of Knack.

Derek Hutson attended the University of Houston from 1988 to 1993 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science.
