Erik Peterson

Erik Peterson is a Full Stack Engineer at Knixwear since April 2019, previously holding the title of Junior Developer. Erik began the journey in web development as a student at Lighthouse Labs from October 2018 to January 2019, where the final project involved developing RELEVENT, an event searching and managing application with social chatrooms. Prior to transitioning into technology, Erik worked as a Private Music Instructor from October 2016 to June 2018 and served as a Community Youth Worker with the Baha'i Council of the Atlantic Provinces from April 2016 to May 2018, focusing on empowering junior youth through meaningful discussions and community service projects. Erik's experience in education also includes a teaching position at Engage Education from September 2015 to February 2016, complemented by educational credentials from Nipissing University and Humber College, culminating in degrees in Education and Music Performance.
