Joana Fernandes

Joana Fernandes has work experience in various healthcare-related positions. Joana started their career as an intern at Clínica Privada de Guimarães in November 2015 and worked there until April 2016. After that, they joined CUF - Hospitais e Clínicas in September 2017 as a trainee for their +Talento program. Joana held this position until July 2018 when they were promoted to Healthcare Operations Manager. Joana worked in this role until January 2022. Currently, they are employed as a Production Manager at Knokcare, starting from January 2022.

Joana Fernandes has a diverse education history with a focus on management, economics, health services, and biomedical sciences. Joana obtained a "Pós Graduação em Controlo de Gestão e Execução Estratégica" from Porto Business School in 2020-2021. Prior to that, they pursued a "Mestrado em Gestão e Economia de Serviços de Saúde" at FEP U. Porto from 2014 to 2017. Joana also attended Mount Saint Mary College in 2016, where they completed a course on Strategic Thinking in the field of Business and Marketing. Additionally, they earned a "Licenciatura" degree in Biomedical Sciences, Molecular Biomedicine from Universidade de Aveiro from 2011 to 2014. Furthermore, they completed a course in Entrepreneurship at GesEntrepreneur + Angelini in 2013 and an Intensive Course in Legal Medicine at Instituto CRIAP in the same year.
