Michael Kovalcik has had a diverse work experience since 2017. Michael began as a Fellow and Board Member for the Entrepreneurs Leadership Program in 2017. Michael also held the positions of Member and Entrepreneurship Chair for Sigma Eta Pi at the University of Michigan, President and Director for U-M's Startup Career Fair for MPowered Entrepreneurship, and Communications Chair and Project Leader for the Michigan Data Science Team. In 2018 they held the roles of Venture For America Fellow, Sales Engineering Intern for Rocket Fiber, and Winternship for Detroit Venture Partners. In 2019 they became the Director of Operations and Project Manager for KODE Labs, and in 2017 they were a Behavioral Data Scientist for JOOL Health and VC Associate for Contrary Capital.
Michael Kovalcik attended the University of Michigan from 2014 to 2018, graduating with a Bachelor of Science Engineering (BSE) in Computer Science Engineering and a Minor in Mathematics.
