Vincent Tran began their career in 2004 as an Assistant Manager/Sales Associate at United Auto Parts. In 2013, they became a Brand Ambassador for MKTG (Nintendo) / Factory 360 (Paypal). In 2014, they were an Autonomous Vehicle Operation Specialist at Adecco at Google. In 2016, they became an Operations Lead at Uber Advanced Technologies Group and a Technician II at Otto. At Otto, they assisted with purchase, assembly and installation of hardware/sensors used for self-driving trucks, managed facilities for over 100 people, operated and tested self-driving trucks, performed product demonstrations, troubleshot hardware and software, created a training program, developed and upheld company policy, and was part of the team that set the world record for longest autonomous route with no driver intervention. In 2018, they became an Operations Team Member at Kodiak Robotics and earned a Commercial Class A drivers license.

Vincent Tran attended Oak Grove Highschool from 2005 to 2008, where they completed the Academy of Business and Finance program. Vincent then went on to the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Information Systems Management from 2008 to 2013.
