Ian Alberts

Ian Alberts is an experienced accounting professional with a strong background in corporate accounting and audit management. Currently serving as Associate Director at Kodiak Sciences since January 2022, Ian previously held the position of Senior Accounting Manager. Prior roles include Senior Manager of Corporate Accounting at Proofpoint and Accounting Consultant through DeWinter Group. Ian's career began at Deloitte & Touche, where significant accomplishments as Audit Manager included overseeing multiple audits in the life sciences sector, as well as roles as Audit in Charge and Audit Senior. Ian began professional training as an Articles Clerk at Mitchells' Chartered Accounting and holds a B.Comm in Accounting from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
