Paul Ryan was appointed Chief Information Officer in December 2017. He is responsible for leading Kohler’s global information technology organization, including operations, talent and capability building, and the development and execution of the global IT strategies to support Kohler businesses.
Along with his team, Paul is focused on four critical areas of technology strategy: omnichannel and e-commerce, operations and supply chain, new product development and internet of things, and associate experience.
Paul has over 25 years of experience driving transformational organization and technology strategies for companies like PepsiCo and, most recently, Mars, Inc. Prior to joining Kohler, Paul served as Vice President and Global Chief Information Officer for the Wrigley division of Mars.
Paul holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and computer information systems from Bryant University in Rhode Island.

Kohler was founded in 1873 when John Michael Kohler purchased the Sheboygan Union Iron & Steel Foundry. The firm originally produced cast iron implements for farmers, castings for furniture factories, and ornamental iron pieces. Kohler also owns two golf resorts: Destination Kohler, also known as the American Club in Kohler, Wisconsin, and Destination St. Andrews in Scotland, also known as the Old Course Hotel. Herbert Kohler, grandson of the founder, runs the company.
