Hania Syed

Hania Syed has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and IT consultancy. Hania is currently working at KOHO as a Senior Software Developer, where they started in July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Developer II at KOHO from December 2020 to August 2022.

Before joining KOHO, Hania worked at Netlight as an IT Consultant. Their role involved developing and maintaining a web service for an identity-management startup, as well as assisting in the development of a car parking application for a multinational luxury automobile company. Hania utilized various tools and technologies such as Python, Typescript, Flask, NodeJS, Swagger, JIRA, Jenkins, and GIT during their time at Netlight. Hania worked at Netlight from June 2018 to August 2020.

Prior to Netlight, Hania gained experience as a Working Student in software and tools development at Intel Corporation from January 2017 to November 2017. Hania also worked as a Working Student Software Engineer at ServiceXpert GmbH, where their responsibilities included migrating software development projects, configuring CI/CD processes, implementing change requests, and integrating Google Analytics into web applications. Their time at ServiceXpert GmbH was from August 2016 to November 2016.

Hania started their career as a Software Engineer at Binary Vibes (PVT) Limited from March 2015 to August 2015. Before that, they participated in an exchange program at AIESEC from June 2013 to August 2013. Hania also worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Institute of Business Administration from January 2012 to January 2013.

Throughout their career, Hania has gained experience with various tools and technologies including Python, Typescript, Flask, NodeJS, Swagger, JIRA, Jenkins, GIT, JWT, REST, PostgreSQL, PyTest, Jest, Postman, Newman, Public Key Cryptography, TSLint, Pylint, Visual Studio, C#, SCRUM, SVN, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, cmd, and Google Analytics.

Hania Syed completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Institute of Business Administration from 2011 to 2015. Hania then pursued their Master of Science in Informatics from the Technical University of Munich from 2015 to 2017.
