Juha Valkama

Juha Valkama is an experienced product manager and mechanical designer currently working at Koja since March 2018, focusing on the mechanical design of marine air handling units. Prior roles include design engineer at AX-Suunnittelu, specializing in ATEX design, and involvement in a master thesis project at Tampere University of Technology addressing pressure relief for explosive atmospheres. Juha has also worked as a mechanical engineer at Etteplan and completed traineeships in mechanical engineering at Metso and Rolls-Royce Oy Ab. Early career experience includes positions as a sheet metal worker. Juha holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tampere University of Technology and an occupational degree in Heating, Air Conditioning, Ventilation, and Refrigeration Maintenance Technology from Tredu Tampereen seudun ammattiopisto.
