KOMBIT A/S
Digital is KOMBIT's DNA. Based on the municipalities' challenges and opportunities, we develop and operate digital solutions - we create digital movement. The municipalities' everyday life is about the citizens and the local business community. Everyday life is the presence of the service that the municipal employees provide on a daily basis, and that is the reality and the work in which KOMBIT delivers digitalisation. We are a municipally owned IT community that is responsible for procuring, managing, operating and further developing up-to-date and stable IT solutions and infrastructure for the benefit of citizens and businesses. Our work is thus based on a modern IT infrastructure and more than 30 nationwide IT solutions such as Aula, Borgerblikket, Digitalisation of Vulnerable Children and Young People (DUBU), NemRefusion and the Municipal Sickness Benefit system. Together with the municipalities and IT suppliers, we work to ensure that citizens and businesses in Denmark get better service and cheaper and more coherent IT solutions. We do that, among other things by creating transparency and competition in the IT market and making data available for other municipal solutions. In KOMBIT, the Danish municipalities have a common focal point with strong and specialized competences in the area of digitalisation. In addition to the work of running and further developing the running joint municipal IT solutions and infrastructure, KOMBIT also contributes to the digital rethinking of our welfare and supports the municipalities in their work with cyber security and green transition. KOMBIT's ambition is to ensure continued municipal digital movement - today and in the future.
