Chris McCoy is the Founder and CEO of Kombucha Town since October 2011, where responsibilities include overseeing daily operations and managing multiple teams, as well as leading new product development and brewery expansion projects. In November 2023, Chris took on the role of Regional Managing Partner at J. Galt, focusing on empowering small business owners to thrive. Previous experience includes serving as an Economic Feasibility Consultant at BIOFUEL Earth, conducting market research for renewable energy projects, and working as a Sustainable Building Advisor for Living Laboratories on a green building project. Early career roles involved interning at the Business Alliance for Local Living Economies and being a Sole Proprietor at McCoy Green Energy, where Chris developed a bio-diesel production prototype from algae. Chris McCoy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Economics from Western Washington University and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Business from Whatcom Community College.
