Jan Bert Schutrops

Jan Bert Schutrops has a diverse work experience primarily in the oil and gas industry. Jan Bert started their career with Vopak China in 2002, serving as the CEO of KTSB Malaysia and later as the Managing Director of Vopak Terminal Zhangjiagang. In 2007, they became the President of Vopak China and later took on the role of President Chemicals EMEA. In 2012, Schutrops joined Vopak Nederland as the President until 2017 when they became the Division President of Europe & Africa. Jan Bert also held the position of Global Director of Operations & Technology. Since 2017, they have been working at Vopak as the Executive Vice President of Operations & Customer Care. Additionally, they worked at STC Group as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors. Overall, Schutrops has demonstrated leadership and expertise in the logistics and operational aspects of the oil and gas industry.

Jan Bert Schutrops holds a Master's degree in Economics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam). Jan Bert also completed an MBA degree in Executive Management from IMD in 2006. Jan Bert obtained their undergraduate degree, Drs, in Economics from VU Amsterdam in the period from 1985 to 1991. Prior to this, they attended CSG Emmeloord from 1978 to 1985 for their VWO degree.
