Prior to that, they were the Director Safety, Sustainability & Operations at Vopak New Energies & LNG, where they focused on developing new infrastructure solutions for low-carbon and renewable energy. Tadas has also held various roles at AB Klaipėdos Nafta, including LNG Business Director and Director of LNG Terminal, where they played a key role in the development and operation of the first full-scale LNG import terminal in the Baltic Sea region. Additionally, they have experience in nuclear power plant project development and IT&T services. Tadas Matulionis is currently a Board Member at Terminal de LNG de Altamira S de RL de CV and SPEC LNG.
Tadas Matulionis obtained a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Kaunas University of Technology between 1995 and 2000. From 2002 to 2004, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from the Baltic Management Institute. In 2007, they obtained a certification as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute. In 2012, they obtained a Prince2 Practitioner certification from APMG-International. Additionally, in 2013, they obtained a Board Member Certificate from the Baltic Institute of Corporate Governance. Most recently, from 2019 to 2020, Tadas Matulionis attended Columbia Business School for the field of study in Corporate Finance.
