Daeyong KIM has extensive experience in economic research and development, currently serving as the Director of Development Research at the Korea Development Institute (KDI) since March 2007. KIM's roles at KDI have included Senior Specialist and Director of Global Knowledge Cooperation, along with a position as Head of the Center for International Development. Prior to KDI, KIM worked as a Researcher at the Sungkyunkwan Institute of Economic Research, contributing to energy forecasting modeling projects. KIM holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics, as well as a Master of Arts (M.A.) and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in the same field, all from Sungkyunkwan University.
