Brian Progar

Brian Progar is a seasoned executive in the oil and gas industry with extensive experience at Kosmos Energy since 2008, where currently serves as Senior Vice President and Ghana Asset Manager, overseeing the Ghana Business Unit's strategy and performance. Progar's career at Kosmos includes roles such as Vice President of Business Development and Exploration, where responsibilities encompassed leading teams on large-scale projects in the Gulf of Mexico and managing international exploration activities. Prior to Kosmos, Progar held various engineering and planning roles at BP Exploration & Production from 1997 to 2008, contributing significantly to project management and commercial development, particularly in the Gulf of Mexico. Progar holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from the University of Dayton and an MBA from the University of Houston-Victoria.
