Leo Brown

Leo Brown is an experienced geophysicist currently serving as a Geophysicist Advisor and Development Geophysicist for Kosmos Energy since June 2017. In this role, Leo focuses on reservoir characterization for the Tortue gas field and has been involved in the Orca and Yakaar-Teranga discoveries in Mauritania and Senegal. Prior to this position, Leo spent nearly a decade at ConocoPhillips in various roles, including Senior Staff Geophysicist, where responsibilities included seismic reservoir characterization and well planning in the Western North Slope. Additional experience includes roles at ConocoPhillips Scandinavia and GEOVISION INC. Academic credentials include multiple advanced degrees in Geophysics, Geotechnical Engineering, and Engineering Geology from institutions such as The University of Texas at Dallas and Brigham Young University.
