Prof. Dr. Marc Oliver Opresnik has extensive work experience in the field of digital marketing and business consulting. Prof. Dr. Marc Oliver is currently serving as a Distinguished Professor of Digital Marketing at Technische Hochschule Lübeck since 2008 and at Universität zu Lübeck since 2020. Prof. Dr. Marc Oliver has also held the position of Chief Research Officer and CEO Kotler Business Program at Kotler Impact, Inc. since 2014. Additionally, Prof. Opresnik has worked as a Visiting Professor at Cambridge Judge Business School and as a Mentor at the United Nations World Food Programme. Prof. Dr. Marc Oliver has also held various roles at SGMI Management Institut St. Gallen, Regent's University London, and Shell International Petroleum Co Ltd. Furthermore, Prof. Opresnik has worked as a consultant, coach, and keynote speaker for numerous international corporations and organizations.

Prof. Dr. Marc Oliver Opresnik completed their education in the field of Business Administration. Prof. Dr. Marc Oliver first obtained a Diplom-Kaufmann degree from the University of Hamburg, where they studied from 1989 to 1996. Later, they furthered their academic pursuits at the same university and earned a PhD in Business Administration, completing their studies from 1996 to 1999.
