Suat UĞURLU, Ph.D. has diverse work experience in the field of technology solutions and IT security. Suat began their career at Egebank A.S. as a Systems Engineer in 1997 and later joined HSBC BANK A.S. as a Project Leader in 2001. Suat then held the position of Information Technology Manager at Şeker Finansman A.Ş. from 2007 to 2009, and at Innova Bilişim Çözümleri A.Ş. from 2009 to 2016. Currently, they serve as the Associate Director of Technology Solutions and IT Security at Koton Mağazacılık. In addition to their professional endeavors, Suat UĞURLU is also a Lecturer at Topkapı University since 2022.

Suat UĞURLU, Ph.D. holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science, which they obtained from Istanbul Technical University from 2001-2007. Suat also holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the same institution, completed from 1997-2001. Suat had earlier obtained a Bachelor's degree in Control and Computer Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, from 1992-1997.
