Todd Douds, CFA, currently serves as Principal and Chief Operating Officer at Kovitz since November 2024. Prior to this role, Todd was the Chief Operating Officer and Managing Partner at Fort Pitt Capital Group from April 2012 to November 2024, and also held the position of Director of Research and Operations. Additional experience includes a tenure as a Senior Associate at Wilshire Associates and an Investment Analyst at Arbor Capital Management. In the sports domain, Todd was a Mogul and Aerials Coach with PA Freestyle from December 2022 to March 2025, emphasizing skill development and mental resilience in young athletes. Todd's early career includes competing as an Inverted Aerialist for the U.S. Freestyle Ski Team from 1994 to 1998. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Applied Economics from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelor's degree in Development Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, complemented by participation in the Charles Schwab Executive Leadership Program.
