Rutger Huiberts, AIA, currently serves as Design Director and Senior Associate Principal at KPF since April 2013, after an earlier role as Associate Principal. In addition, Rutger co-chairs the Global Dialogues Committee of AIANY since June 2022. Prior experience includes working as an assistant designer at MVRDV and completing internships at Casanova Hernandez Architects and RV Ritoe. Rutger began academic pursuits at Università degli Studi di Firenze, earning a Bachelor's in Urban and Environmental Planning, followed by a Bachelor's in Architecture from Technische Universiteit Delft, and later advanced degrees including a Master of Science in Architecture from Delft University of Technology and a postgraduate certificate in Architecture and Urban Design from London South Bank University.
