Summit Sehgal is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the automotive and technology sectors. Currently serving as Engineering Group Manager at KPIT since March 2023, Summit leads the Chassis Advancement team focused on Software Defined Vehicle and By-Wire Technologies. Previously, as Principal Engineer for Autonomous Vehicles at Changan US R&D Center from November 2015 to February 2023, Summit was instrumental in developing automated steering controls. Past roles include Senior Software Engineer at General Motors, Software Engineer at CMC Microsystems, and FPGA Engineer at SR Research Ltd., demonstrating a strong background in real-time systems, software design, and hardware development. Summit holds an MASc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ryerson University, an EMBA from Michigan State University, a B.Eng. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Kurukshetra University, and a Software Engineering qualification from Centennial College.
