Laurent des Places is a Partner and Head of Automotive & Industrial Manufacturing at KPMG France, with a career spanning over three decades at the firm since January 1991. As the Global Audit Lead Partner, Laurent manages international teams, oversees significant decisions impacting financial communication for listed companies, and engages with regulators while driving business transformation. Laurent is also a key member of KPMG's global leadership for the automotive sector and serves as the sector leader in France. Prior to KPMG, Laurent worked as an Audit Senior & Manager at Marine Nationale and holds advanced education from the Institut des hautes études de défense nationale and EDHEC Business School, along with professional qualifications as an Expert-Comptable et Commissaire aux Comptes.
