Charlie Harris

Charlie Harris is an accomplished software engineering professional with a diverse background in various leadership and technical roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as a Lead Software Engineer at KrakenFlex (part of Octopus Energy Group) since June 2023, Charlie co-founded SkillsMap.io in January 2018, where the focus is on creating software tools to enhance career development for engineering teams. Previous experience includes serving as CTO at Octopus Hydrogen, where Charlie developed an IoT platform for efficient hydrogen production, and as Project Lead at Octopus Energy Hatchery, where a SaaS product for carbon emissions tracking was successfully launched. Additional roles include Software Engineer positions at Kaluza, TES Global Limited, and contributions as both a developer and project manager in various digital projects. Charlie holds a BSc in Geography from the University of Nottingham.
