Rafael Lopes Martins

Rafael Lopes Martins is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales, market development, and civil engineering. Currently serving as Sales and Market Development Manager at Kraton Corporation since May 2015, Rafael has driven significant growth in the Paving & Roofing Business across Latin America, expanding sales presence from 3 to 13 countries while managing key accounts and technical developments. Rafael holds leadership roles as Vice Coordinator of the Sectorial Commission of Raw Materials for Rubber at ABIQUIM and member of the Board of Directors at Associação Brasileira De Pavimentação. Prior experience includes civil engineering positions at Construtora Aterpa S.A where Rafael was responsible for major projects, such as railroad construction and BRT mobility systems. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Project Management from FGV and a BS in Civil Engineering from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, complemented by studies in Merger & Acquisition and civil engineering at Technische Universität Dresden.
