Dan Markham

Director of Operations at Kraus-Anderson

As Director of Operations for Kraus-Anderson’s Duluth office, Dan oversees the day to day operations of one of the key Northland regional offices. He brings more than 25 years of experience in finance, business development, real estate and construction to his role, grounded in deep understanding of the Duluth market. His background in corporate governance includes serving on the Board of Duluth-based GPM, Inc., an industrial products manufacturer; and past director and interim CEO of National Bank of Commerce of Duluth. Dan has an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Regis University, Denver, CO; and a B.S. in Economics from St. John’s University, Collegeville, MN.

An active civic booster, Dan’s community service includes the KA Bike Duluth Festival, which has to date raised over $200,000 for area nonprofits; board service to the Area Partnership for Economic Expansion (APEX), the Northspan Group, Duluth Legacy Endowment Fund, Downtown Duluth Waterfront District, Northland Country Club and Holy Rosary School Board. He also serves on the Mayor’s Affordable Housing Task Force.
