Julia Parsons has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Julia started their career at Halifax plc as a Branch Manager in 1983 and worked there until 1999. In 1999, they joined Kreston Reeves as the Director of Kreston Reeves Financial Planning and Head of Risk. Julia was responsible for providing financial planning advice to both corporate and private individuals, focusing on investments, pensions, group schemes, and long term care. Julia also provided regulatory compliance support. In the same year, they briefly worked at Audata as a Financial Director. Later, in 2011, they became the Director and Chair of the Finance and Buildings Committee at Canterbury Academy, holding the position until December 2016.
Julia Parsons obtained a BA (Hons) degree in Sociology and Education from the University of York, completing their studies between 1979 and 1982. Later, between 2004 and 2008, they pursued a Financial Planning degree, the Chartered Financial Planner Award, from the Personal Finance Society.
