Michael Fauser is an experienced educator and researcher in Holocaust studies and social studies, currently serving as a Social Studies Teacher at Krieger Schechter Day School since August 2021. Previously, Michael worked as a Photographic Research Consultant for Berenbaum Jacobs Associates, where responsibilities included acquiring photographs for the Dallas Holocaust Museum. Michael's extensive background in photographic research includes roles at the USC Shoah Foundation, the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, and various educational institutions, where contributions ranged from indexing survivor testimonies to developing Holocaust curricula. An academic background in Applied History (M.A.) from Shippensburg University and a B.A. in History from Millersville University supports Michael's expertise in this vital field.
