Hari Kenkare has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Hari started their career as a Junior Officer at Raymond Limited in 1996. Hari then worked as a Faculty in Textile Technology at Osmania University from 1998 to 2001. Hari further pursued their career as a Research Assistant at North Carolina State University from 2002 to 2006, followed by a role as a Research Associate from 2006 to 2007 at the same institution. In 2007, Hari joined Lectra as a Marketing Coordinator and later became the Schools Partnership Manager. At Lectra, they handled various marketing activities and managed collaborations with fashion industry institutions and trade organizations in North America. In 2015, Hari worked as a Visiting Faculty Member at Govt. S K S J Technological Institute in Bangalore. Currently, Hari is working as a Lead Business Consultant at Kripya Solutions Pvt Ltd, a position they have held since November 2015.

Hari Kenkare completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Textile Technology from Bangalore University in the period from 1992 to 1996. Following that, they pursued a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Textile Sciences and Engineering from Bangalore University between 1997 and 1998. Finally, they attained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Textile Technology Management from North Carolina State University, where they studied from 2001 to 2005.
