Kromek
Ben Cantwell has been employed in the technology industry since 2003. Ben started their career at Kromek Group PLC, where they were a New Technology Manager and one of the founders of Durham Scientific Crystals (now called Kromek). Ben worked to commercialize crystal growth technology they had worked on during their PhD. Since then, the company has grown from a two-man company to a PLC with over 100 employees across Europe and the USA. In 2018, they moved to KromeK Limited as Innovation Director.
Ben Cantwell received their PhD in Physics from Durham University in 2004, after completing an MSci in Physics from the same institution in 2000.
